Extreme/ NeoClassical Metal Bands that don't have screaming

Hello Ultimate Guitar Metalheads.

I have been playing guitar for about a year, and in my time learning how difficult the guitar can be, I have come to appreciate and actually enjoy genres of music I wouldn't have associated myself with beforehand. One of these genres is metal.

Unfortunately however, I can't come to enjoy the music when the lead singer sounds like he's the devil, or he's screaming. (I can tolerate some screaming for dramaric effect) And it is truly unfortunate because I'll hear of a metal band, hear the opening guitar riff, extremely dig it, then the lead singer comes in sounding like a zombie corpse and I can't appreciate the instrumental part anymore.

Of course, this is my personal opinion and I don't want to offend anyone who does enjoy that aspect of the genre.

Some band that I think of:

Cradle Of Filth
Ne Obliciscaris

Both of these bands I really dig the instrumental part. For Cradle of Filth and their song 'Nyphetamine Fix', I enjoy the instrumental, Liv Kristine's Vocals, but when Davey comes in it just kinda kills it for me.

Some metal artists that I do enjoy:
Bullet For My Valentine
Black Label Society

Thanks for your opinions, and I look forward to learning new metal bands that broaden my musical horizons!!

We have a recommendation thread stickied at the top of the forum for this purpose. Can you ask there instead?
Who are you? The prince of darkness? Don't you have any friends?
