Grand Belial's Key

I was cunting around on the internet with nothing to do whatsoever, when I stumbled upon these guys. It's black metal, and I think that this is quite good, which is saying something, seeing as I'm not a black metal fan. I wouldn't know what to compare it to, so find out here www.grandbelialskey.cjb.net

what are your views?

they were kicked off of the northern lights festival a few years back because of their anti-semetic beliefs or something

THREAD REVIVAL!

yay, these guys are probably my USBM band.

http://profile.myspace.com/index.cf...iendid=98401921

check out "the bearded hustlers." the song is melodic without sounding cheesy, which is quite an impressive task, especially in black metal. the lead sing Grimnir Wotansvolk passed away in august, which sucks because there will be no more of this band. kosherat is my fav album........

besides "the bearded hustlers," "the red heifer" is my favorite song of theirs.

how can a country have a style of music that could be "almost" considered a Genre, like NSBM, USBM, united states black metal, its really considered a form of music...

then, i don't have any USBM in my collection, i'll have to try some...

still how can a country/nationality have a genre/style all to its own.

i'm not sure exactly how the usbm term started, but i always thought it originated as an insult, 'what do the americans know about being grim and frostbitten', therefore usbm lacking in comparison to european bm bands, but i'm probably wrong

I haven't heard much of them, but Mocking the Philanthropist is the coolest album title IMO.

I've only listened to Mocking the Philanthropist, and I really enjoy that album. Has anyone listened to their other stuff, worth getting?
