Although I like BMD, Dance of December Souls is the pinnacle of Katatonia.

for funeral doom, you could try Mournful Congregation - The Monad of Creation

also Skepticism - Lead & Aether

Aye, thanks. I'll try and give them a thorough listen. I'll admit I'm still not entirely convinced that this stuff is down my alley, but it's interesting to listen to, to say the least...

So far I have listened to EA, Mournful Congregation, and Colosseum. All are sounding ultramourningfulllingypainful, which is good.

Go with 'Hammer of Gods' for Angelcorpse...its better than Exterminate.
