Nails nail everything I love about extreme metal. See the break in Unsilent Death. It feels like it should be doing ****ed-up things to my organs.

Love it.

But does this mean Trap Them are metal too?

I always thought Trap Them were a hardcore band... I guess they're part of that area where it's hard to tell.

Haha, I've been into Warren Zevon lately!

Nails are absolutely killer though, some of the crustiest grind I've ever heard.

Sort of a big bump, (also shouldn't these guys be in the Hardcore forum?) but they just finished their new album with Kurt Ballou. So stoked on this.

New album is supposed to be released in March or April, I can't remember which one.

And a quote from Todd when I talked to him in Seattle:
"It's way better than Unsilent Death"

They are grindcore, which, as a genre, can fit in either forum, really. They have somewhat of a Swedish death metal tinge to their sound (at least on Unsilent Death, haven't listened to the split they put out after that), which would serve as some basis for them to be here, though, I guess.

I'll definitely check out this new album, I bet it will sound good aurally at the very least. Unsilent Death is one of my favorite grind albums of recent years, so I hope the sentiment expressed about the new album's quality by Todd, as mentioned by Quintin, is true.

They played some new songs when I saw them, and they were pretty crushing.
