Pat, is more harmonically & rhythmically advanced than most musicians.

What he chooses to do with that expansive knowledge imo is often not listenable.

Why does he have to use upper extensions in almost every song he covers? Is it really so bad to play a dominant chord once in a while

( Pats Mind: no it has to be a 13th, Dim7th, or Tritone substitution Arpeggio, I hate simple 7th chords!): I honestly feel like he thinks this way sometimes.

Metheny is awesome. There's this one song from Metheny but I don't remember the name of it. There's some woman singing something about flowers blossoming and that kind of stuff. So does anybody know the name of the song?
