okay so i resoldered the input jack on my peavey predator and it gets MASSIVE feedback even when im not playing. and when i am playing i can barely hear the notes at all. Did i solder it wrong?

Maybe you switched the hot and the ground?

I've usually seen that cause buzz, not feedback. Does the feedback/noise get louder when you touch your strings , bridge, tuners?

You probably switched the hot and ground.

Also, please read the announcement on thread titles
