Oh wow, that's painful (the Seven Nation Army thing, that is. I think a lot of people said "mau five" for a while). I can't stand pretty much anyone who uses the word "hipster" seriously. Especially teenage girls who think that wearing nerd glasses and listening to Mumford & Sons and fun. makes them so cool and "indie."

I'd rather this than the people who think they're the greatest thing to ever happen to "folk" music, but who are also unfamiliar with anything else.

also, I'd almost definitely say "dead mau five" if I didn't know better. it's a 5 not an S. who's with me?

It'd certainly be a lot less confusing if he'd just be DeadMou5e once in a while.

um why exactly?

i don't think i ever heard anyone say "deadmau5" out loud, but i thought it was pretty obvious that the 5 stands in for an "s."

bollocks is 5 stars fuck you. 5 stars means 'i luhv this album 4ever' only for plebs; for scholars it means 'undisputable classic' (plus some degree of subjective affection which varies). if yr friend digs 47 classics there's nothing wrong with that.

having ac/dc and pink floyd* on there is a problem of course, the rest is beside the point.

*unless it's piper and i assume it isn't.

The Wall is such a bad album. Pink Floyd did put out some pretty alright albums, but nothing I find myself coming back to more than once every two years. They aren't half as intelligent of a band as their fans seem to think.

I still say it "Dead Mau 5" cuz if he wanted me to call him "Dead Mouse" the entitled bastard should've spelled it right.

Also I think the only Pink Floyd album i've ever really listened all the way through is Animals.

Also Sex Pistols more like Sux Pistols.

listening to Never Mind the Bollocks was a pivotal moment in my life. five stars, decent 9, would listen again.

I never said "Dead mau 5" b/c even if you aren't "clever" enough to pick up on mau5=maus at first glance, he wears a fucking mouse mask thing on his head.

there were some people in my high school who talked abt 4chan irl, it was rly annoying, glad I will never see them again.

yeah, out of the "Dylan goes electric mid '60s whatever" albums, Highway 61 is probably my least favorite. I do really like Tombstone Blues though.

I don't really care about Never Mind the Bollocks.
