My glasses broke last week after playing an extreme game of spoons... still not sure how that's possible

It's extreme spoons man! Extreme means that things may get broken and people may get hurt. That's what Extreme Home Makeover is all about, the possibility for people to be seriously injured.

Were the spoons like in another room or was it just a heated game of regular spoons?

yea the spoons were like 30 feet away and we ran to get them. things got hairy from there

that entirely removes the sneaky element from spoons, but i imagine that it is exciting.

and wikipedia suggests this as a variation

It used to be on Google but now the only place I can find it is veoh.com but I don't trust sites that make you install software to watch videos.

My favorite one is the person that spells the name of the band "DA ARCADE FAYA."

Maybe it's because I was born and raised a music nerd and I don't know what it's like to only listen to whatever is on Top 40, but how have so many people seriously never heard of Arcade Fire? I mean... they sold Neon Bible at Wal-Mart, for Christ's sake.

was at vancouver for a few days, saw Best Coast and Yo La Tengo, separate bills, both fun. but more importantly, went to a chinese tea shop and was brewed some tea via "gung fu cha" technique. jesus christ. have never tasted anything like it, blew my mind. i had iron buddah/emperor's delight oolong tea. the whole process was really neat and the tea steeps in the tiniest pot for only a few seconds.
