Archspire (technical death metal goodness!)
This is a very sick local tech death band. Their drummer has been on sick drummer and is ridiculous. The bassist plays a fretless and one guitarist an 8 and the other a 7.

Ehh. Not too bad, but that stop/start riffage gets really annoying after awhile. Some consistency or possibly even 5 seconds without muting would be nice.

I just wanted to resurrect this thread if nothing else to talk about how inhumanly fast the vocalist is.
I am going to have the pleasure of opening for them on Saturday and am very much looking forward to it.

I like this band...I agree with Magero about the start stop riffing... but its not a big deal really... everything sounds awesome especially the drumming

holy ****ing christ that drummer's snare could rival the bezerker. cool band. but why on earth would one guy play a 7 and the other play an 8 string? that sounds fairly strange.

Not into it, but the drummer is pretty brutal. The vocalist is pretty cool too I suppose.
