If you could put together a dream band with artists dead or alive, who would you pick? Mine would go something like this:
Vocals - Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy/Grandslam) Lead Guitar - Slash (Guns n Roses/Velvet Revolver) Bass - Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) Rythm Guitar - Gary Moore (Colloseum II, Thin Lizzy) Drums - John Bonham (Led Zepplin) <hr> LazyEdit: This thread has been done soooo many times by so many newbies, that this will become the ONLY thread for your dream band ![]() Last edited by LazyGuitar : 11-02-2004 at 08:22 AM. |

Drum-Vinne Paul (Pantera/Damage Plan)
Bass-Justin Chancellor (Tool) Lead Guitar-Dimebag Derrell (Pantera/Damage Plan) Rythym Guitar-Wes Borland (Limp Bizket, Bigdumbface, The Damning Well) Lead Vocals-Chris Cornell (Soundgarden/Audio Slave) Scream Vocals-Nathan Gray (Boy Sets Fire) Reasons: Dimebag and Vinnie are both extremly good, and always travel together in bands. They would of both been members of Megadeth if Mustaine dident already have a drummer. Justin is an awsome bassist. Listen to Tool albums and find out. Wes wouldent make the best lead, but at rhythem, he is one of the best at present. For the singers, I chose two because being a front man who does sing and scream. Your voice gets haggerd after so much screaming. Two singers with two diffrent intensitys will keep both sounding as good as possible. Chris Cornell should be an obvious choice. As for Nathan. Very intense in both voice and political views. Maynerd James Keenan was also a close choice for Vocals. For a classic: Drums-Neil Peart (Rush) Bass-Lemmy Kilmister (Motorhead) Lead Guitar-Randy Rhodes (Ozzy) Rhythem Guitar-Angus Young (AC/DC) Lead Vocals-Jim Morrisan (The Doors) |

Does anyone even look before you post?
I realize you're a total noob, and I don't mean to scare you off at all. But I find it ironic that no new people have the sense to wait a week to see how often these idiotic threads pop up. EDIT: It's... about... time. One I'd like to hear the final sound most: Bass - Flea Drums - John Bonham Guitar - Jimi Hendrix Vocals - Freddie Mercury They all seem like they'd mix quite well (except Freddie, but I don't think the vocalist effects the sound of a jam band that much lol.) Out of pure talent and orgasm to hear the quality of the music they play: Bass - Victor Wooten Drums - Neil Peart Guitar - Joe Satriani Vocals - Freddie Mercury

Are you serious? I'm not messing around this time, this thread has been run into the ground countless times before, not mention that there already is a pre-exsisting ultimate band thread on the first page of this forum. Just look before you post, and double check to make sure that some else hasn't come up with the same genious idea as you. I don't want to come off harsh, but this really has to stop.
