Well, yesterday I posted about the new cabinet I purchased (here's the link Cab ). But today, I purchased my new head to go with it! I consider today a double NAD as I wasn't able to play the cab yesterday. So, I present to you.... Carvin VT50     (Another pic lower in thread) I picked this baby up from a local blues player who's had it a few years. It sounds incredible paired with my new cab, and looks great too. The tone is very creamy and smooth, great for blues to rock. The reverb on it is also great, not overpowering, but really warm. I'll be playing on the clean channel 99% of the time, but the "soak" channel is also nice to have, adds some nice grit to the tone. The head itself only weighs about 25lbs, so that was a bonus.There is a few spots that show wear, but I feel it gives it character. For the head, I ended up paying roughly $300 USD (I'm canadian, so I converted sort of  ). I feel like it was a steal, and I couldn't be happier! Hopefully you guys enjoy it too.

looks pretty yummy man  PS: NAD = New Amp Day. your other thread was a NAD was it not? That was actually a NCD = New Cab Day. So it is not a Double Nad it is a new Quarter Stack Day just messin'
