I strongly disagree with your post about the P90X. I know a lot of people who have both lost fat and built muscle before the probram was even over.

Agreed. As with any workout program, diet is potentially of equal, if not greater importance than the actual exercises (assuming technique and form are strict). You could have the greatest week of workouts you've ever had and felt great about it, but if you had bad food continually throughout it won't help with cutting any fat. However there are some anomalies; one of the pilots here can eat whatever he wants, and a lot of it anytime and not have any bad effects. He pretty much lives in the gym though.

So I need new snacks. I figure whole wheat pb&j are a good start, so is fruit. My main problem is finding salty snacks, multigrain wheat thins are a bit too good, and I end up eating half of a box. Any ideas?
And one of my dietary concerns is that I eat too much sodium. I know it can lead to heart problems in the future, but is that negated with all the working out I do? |

Yay new thread.
So my shoulder spontaneously fixed itself yesterday. I had a climbing competition and up until yesterday morning I was planning on dropping out because my shoulder was still messed up. But I woke up and felt perfect, climbed with no problems whatsoever. Yay miracles. Can't wait to start gymnastics training.. I've been reading a lot on gymnasticbodies.com, and Coach Somer's training really is the ultimate system for strength, power, endurance, speed, and mastery of your body. Aw yea

By Kensai's request, a picture of my turkey breast marinated in olive oil, onions, cilantro, pepper, oregano and a pinch of paprika and then cooked in the oven for half an hour and then served on paper plates because fuck dishes:
