It's kind of free; every week they have ten random champions that you can play as for free; you earn in-game currency at a decent pace though, so you can buy the champions you like.

LoL > DotA > HoN as far as community goes. I always thought people on dota were dicks, then I played hon... The fact that it has voice chat doesn't help. I've only come across two people so far on LoL that trash talked. Since I'm kind of a noob at that style of game I'm usually the one they trash talk. I can't carry my team but if everyone else plays good then I usually do as well.

PRECISELY. In League of Legends they all rage, talk shit, play Mordekaiser and act like they're 10. It's not a matter of racism, it's that they're legitimately batshit as a playerbase.
