Most people around here were swept up by the popular November 2012 craze of Djurent Djurent, a mish mash of 2 sounds that sounds exactly how it's described.

Yeah, metal is so passé, it just keeps recycling the same old guitar/bass/drums formula. That's not art. Djurent Djurent is the future of music.

Yeah, I've been a big Djurent Djurent fan ever since the release of their 2012 debut, Djuke. Before that I didn't really understand any of their work; all the demo material before Djuke seemed too artsy, too intellectual. It was Djuke where Misha Le Bon's presence became more apparent, and the music got more modern, the drum machine became more prevalent and the lyrics started getting less mystical and more specific, and complex, ambiguous studies of loss became, instead, cutting edge djentpop for the new millennium which I gratefully embrace.

Watched Django Unchained a few hours ago, and I must say, thoroughly enjoyed it. I went in about to hate it because of how little I care for Quentin Tarantino, but the man knows people exploding from bullet wounds, what can I say, he's a natural for exploding people.

Peter Kay and Mike Harding are two the immediately spring to mind. Don't know how well they'd go down with someone outside of the UK however. Last edited by AnnihiSlateR : 02-10-2013 at 06:55 AM. |

Hicks, yes, very funny guy. Never did quite get that routine into another performance though.
As for the UK and its comics, I don't think I actually enjoy anyone doing stand up comedy over there. I know Nick might flip his shit because he's into Ross Noble for some strange reason. Quote:
Louis CK Doug Stanhope Dave Attell The entire cast of Seinfeld Jim Gaffigan Steven Wright Brian Posehn Patton Oswalt (I think he's balding) Ron Jeremy can pull a joke pretty well (I used to work as an elephant circumsizer, the pay wasn't bad, but the tips were great) Dangerfield's Corpse (Still has a better punchline than most new comics)

I don't know how long you were gone. I would wager it was between at least sometime before about an hour and a half ago though, and anytime before that.

Ryan Stout is a really funny guy, very unknown though.
It helps if you're a fan of puns mixed with extremely dark humor. On that note, Anthony Jeselnik has a great way of taking mundane subjects and turning them into rape/pedophilia jokes.
