yeh, the prescision routing tool is on my shopping list, been considering putting some MoP inlay detailing into the body to make it pretty.

Also considering swapping the neck pickup for a true velvet instead of the area t so she has a single coil to use.

actually i have the AS73 in transparent cherry that i put 2 SDs in, that pic was just the first one i found for reference =p
i also have an ovation 12, an ibanez ergodyne bass, and a custom build applause with taylor-based soundboard. the applause is hard to describe really... lol. its hideous and unconventional in every way but sounds amazing. metal fretboard... foam composite neck... only wood on it is the soundboard. that was my first build. pure function, no aesthetics. this time i want both =p
i would love to do inlay stuff but have NO idea where to start!

Dude, if you reversed the tail, and then extended the bottom horn a bit, I think it'd look heaps better.

yeh, can't stand them, don't use them, got a tremol-no for my RG's edge 3, if I ever see an ART with a gibraltar/quik change bridge in trans purple with flamed maple top to match the finish on my RG I'd trade it in a heart beat

yeh, the as73 uses the QC3, and it's a bit easier to acquire on eBay and such places, but the G3 is well... non-existent

except for the postage costs, I'm sure it would be cheaper to get it shipped to a mate in the US and then USPS Shipped to me by them. Actually... got some friends coming over in August, must see if they are gonna have some spare weight allowance in their luggage to just bring them over.

oh youre over... somewhere else? doesnt say where!
says postage to oregon here is 11 bucks. shipping overseas would be like 10-15 probably, its a small and light item.. i could probably do it if you need. i sent some wheels to a guy in the UK a while back for the same reason. granted that was 4 huge heavy items, they were like 100 each for shipping.. haha

didnt notice that, haha
youve got decent funding it appears, lucky! so far my body has been more or less free, probably about 10 cents or so total for the wood used on it (20 bucks total for a big stack of spruce tops) neck was $20 or so, bridge about $12, pickups i already had and then one from my uncles parts pile... im a cheapo =p but things are coming together
if you want to look into me sending you that bridge, i dont mind. ive sent people parts numerous times. i can link you to another forum with feedback for me, and my ebay feedback as well if you want, so you know im not going to steal your 23 dollars or bridge =p
