a) the jeans aren't that long, they had just slipped down off the top f my hips cause I had forgot my belt
b) I never bother reading my profile, either message me there or on the forum :p
c) ampmaker kit? the PP-18 if I'm not mistaken
d) you should be ok with that amount of wire, you won't know until you plug it in and switch it on, if you do get hum poke around with a chopstick, or something long and wooden (mind. gutter. out) the hum/buzz will change if you find an issue, likely problem areas will be: the wires leading to the grids (pins 2 and 7 on V1 and 2, pins 2 on V3 and 4), the Hi-Voltage AC supply (6.3v probably isn't going to hurt)
f) I like the plaiting, i normally just twist
g) If you want a custom cab built call me, I'm looking for work :p
h) bet you didn't notice I missed out e) :p

a) Fair enough
b) Okie cokes, I'll remember that cheers.
c) The very same!
d) That's good to know then
f) I wa sjust imagining I was playing with a pretty girls hair at the time
g) I would love to, but I'm short on cash and I'm not unemployed! I'll manage to build one though once I've decided on speakers and tolex (Animal print of some sorts? )
h) No I didn't, well done!
i) Do I use too many smilies? I was going to use more than I actually used here, but I held myself back.

Anyway, can't wait to see this finished!

Edit: Wait, were you implying that I should use llama print tolex? If you were, I didn't mean "Nah, I'd prefer cat skin".

I've got that bookmarked : http://www.allparts.uk.com/online-s...ard-p-7159.html

Along with the normal snakeskin: http://www.allparts.uk.com/online-s...ard-p-5158.html

I'm just not sure if I want to go a little cheesier and get leopard print or something though

hello you sexy people, probably mainly von lazy as you've asked for updates

this is all I have for you, sexy as **** though

That's the first coat I've put a second on since that didn't like the recent heat so much so bubbled a little so I'm gonna need to sand that back with some fine grit before putting the next coat on, also have some serious heavy duty painters tape that is meant to be super effective at stopping seepage under the tap for the neck, expect more updates as the weather holds

Woot! That's more like it. Lumps of wood are better than amp schematics any day.

I'm pretty much full blown amp tech these days, I'm even getting the shop to repair my LP instead of having a go myself

I actually rather like that body shape, and nice-looking neck. Looking forward to future updates

Finally got chance to work on this again!

Just got the final coat on the body and started varnishing the cavity cover, will cut it out before putting a second and final coat on.

Can't do the neck today as I've forgotten my painters tape. But I may attempt a coat on the headstock so there's an extra coat for the walnut veneer on it.

I like that body shape, but what happened to the tapers you had in this pic?

my wife decided she wanted roundovers after I had done the back, didn't complain, the roundover was much much easier than taking all that bevel out with a rasp

I always forget what a nice body shape that is until I see it. It seems like a shape that should look horrible (to me anyway) but then it actually looks fantastic for some reason
