Bugera vs. Bugera Infinium

Is there any difference in tone in the early models compared to the newer models that claim the infinium technology. I have an older model 6262 and wondered if there is much difference the 6262 Infinium??

afaik, there isn't a noticeable difference in the tone, but the infinium technology is supposed to make your tubes last longer by doing some magic and balancing out how much each tube is being used.

These amps don't sound half bad honestly, for the price they sound great! Only problem is they seem to crap out on you often.

I have a Bugera 333 and I like it, but they do have a track record that the first run "always" has problems. So on this alone I would not buy the first run of any "infinium" models.

Are the Infinium amps even out yet?

TS, since you already have a 6262 I highly doubt it would be worth the effort of getting the infinium version.

no I didnt plan on getting the new one was just curious. Im happy with what I have. I wonder how many problems will come about with this infinium technology. Its sounds to me that it's the blueprint for LOTS of problems. I love my 6262 though.
