Schaller strap locks LPJ

Hey!

I just bought a pair of Schaller Strap locks, and I've but one of them into my Lpj, using the original scree. No problems, works awesom. The other hole though, I couldn't use the original screw for because it didn't fit through the strap button, so I had to use one of the screws that came with it. It was a bit thinner and now I'm worried that maybe it could cause damage?

They were about the same lenght, but the one that fita were slimmer.

Any thoughts? (I need answer quickly, I'm playing a gig in 3 hours).

Thx!

That makes no sense.

The Schaller strap pins are two different sizes?

Fill the hole with toothpicks.

Then why would the screw fit in one and not the other?

Put the toothpick in the hole. Break it off flush with the body. Screw into the hole. The screw will bite into the toothpick and the body and make it a much stronger hold.
