Real Name:
Joseph Aleman

Favourite Artists:
The Mars Volta,Coheed and Cambria,Genesis,The Beatles,Led Zeppelin,

Most Inspirational Writer:
Peter Gabriel

Favourite poet/poem (published writer):
"The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T.S. Eliot

If you could be any writer ever, who would you be:
Which ever one got laid the most

If you could be any flavour, which would you be:
Cocaine.I want to be highly addictive

Why Do You Write:
Because if I kept everything bottled up inside, I would probably end up going on a murderous raping spree. Also to impress the ladies.

Favourite word(s):
And, so, but, 'cause.

Favourite Writer(s) on UG:
ZanaCross and JammyDude

Most Helpful Critic:
I've had a lot of great critiques throughout the years. I can't pick just one. But overall the most helpful critics are those that tear my pieces apart. It encourages me to write better next time.

What Do You Do Especially, to Find Inspiration:
I just listen to music and think about my life.

Your Most Recent Work and the Reason Behind It:
My latest work, "Fixer Upper" is about a failing relationship. During the verses, the narrarator is trying his best to patch things up. But during the chorus and outro, he's more like "Forget you, bitch". And that's basically it. I like to use a lot of relgious imagery in my work and a dying relationship just reminded me of a crumbling church. Something beautiful falling apart.

Tips for Newer Writers:
Write what you're passionate about. If you don't care what you're writing about, then no one else will. Also be mindful of your influences. If you only listen to Metallica or read Edgar Allen Poe exclusively, then guess what, your writing will start sounding like theirs and you never want to be a carbon copy of someone else. Try to have a variety of influences you can pull from.

What’s your goal in writing:
To take all the dirty thoughts that I keep inside and turn them into something beautiful for others to enjoy.

Final Comments or Thoughts:
Thank you to everyone who voted for me and to everyone who's ever critiqued one of my pieces. It's really an honor to a part of this community. And lastly, never write for just yourself. Art should be created to be enjoyed by other, not just for the artist's own gratification.

Good interview-thing, good writer. Well done man.
You take my place in the showdown, I observe with a pitiful eye. I'll humbly ask you forgiveness, a request well beyond you and I.
