Lightbulb Found The Perfect Program For Gpx Files Other Than Guitar Pro 6!!

NOTE: I'M NOT TRYING TO TALK DOWN ON EVERYONE LIKE THERE STUPID JUST TRYING TO GIVE AN EXTREMELY DETAILED GUIDE. SORRY IF I COME OFF THAT WAY.

I have noticed in tabs for Darkest Hour there were some tabs labled as GPX files when I tried to use Tuxguitar to download it and it wouldn't.
In case you don't know what Tuxguitar is its a free program thats exactly pretty much the same thing as Guitar Pro just has some cheesy sounding instruments but it gets the job done. Here's the download link if you wanna try it.

http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/

http://www.Tab-Exporter.com/

Any way the website that you can use is called Tab-Exporter.
There will be this window with a random tab in it and above the window
it says Browse. We will get back to this in a minute. Take the tab thats in GPX format
instead of downloading it click save as and put it somewhere where its easy to find.
Then, go back to Tab-Exporter and hit Browse. This will bring up all your files for your computer like Documents, Downloads, etc. Click Open which is right beside Browse.
The GPX file should now be in Text Tab format. Now the cool part. At the top of the tab there should be some formats that you can download the tab in like Guitar Pro 5, Midi, Text, XML, and Lilypond.
I click Guitar Pro 5 Format because I'm pretty sure Tuxguitar can't open anything other than Guitar Pro 5 and anything under. Then, when I did it opened in Tuxguitar which is extremely awesome since some good tabs are in GPX Format.

Well, thats my little tutorial on how to open GPX files in Tuxguitar or Guitar Pro 5.
Thanks and hope it helps.

I found that site a few months ago, its really handy. The rest of my band refuses to download gp6 so I constantly have to convert tabs from gpx to gp5.
