i think most of the songs on Garage Inc are also tuned down a half-step, if those count.

actually almost everything since 1996 is in Eb. the only big exception is death magnetic. but live those songs also are played in Eb

Nope, they played in Eb because they liked the extra heaviness of the tuning. Same reason why metalheads tune to Drop B,C,Z etc

Actually many bands downtune a bit when playing live. It's not only Metallica.

It's a half step down.

From what I know, most of Load and reload are a half step down. They almost always tune a half step down nowadays, so you could really just play with a live recording of the song you learned/want to learn.
