finally got around to checking out some albums from The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and The Nice... pretty awesome stuff. Arthur Brown is just great and it's cool to hear Emerson play in a different setting than ELP for The Nice

also anyone listen to McLuhan? been wanting to share this album here for a while but keep forgetting

pretty interesting stuff

Rome buddy, do you have a rip of Egg's self titled (Debut I think)? You linked to a track or two on your fagbook, so I checked them out and was immediately taken.

Do you guys know of the band Goblin?

Just watched a movie called 'Tenebre', turns out they did the soundtrack, which was stellar. They also did the OST for Dawn of the Dead (1978). Awesome music.

Of course we all know of Goblin, because we've all seen the magnificent hues of Suspiria coupled with those snazzy tracks.

Assuming you haven't seen Suspiria, I'd say that's Goblin's finest work. Truly hypnotic.

Of course I've seen Suspiria, I'm not that noob haha.

The Tenebre soundtrack is just glorious though, it's like proggy daft punk or something. Such awesome music.

Some of you guys may be interested, my band just released a track from our debut album. We're on the same label as The Safety Fire, Leprous, Transatlantic etc...

See what you guys think !

can't say i'm digging it, riffs remind me too much of cliche prog metal but with really light distortion and not a fan of those vocals with the clean sections. you might get some good feedback in the prog forum but it's kind of out of place here, we tend to focus on more traditional/classic prog and psychedelic experimental stuff.

Looking for stuff similar to Ayreon's Universal Migrator pt. 1, that kind of atmospheric spacey prog rock. anybody have any suggestions?

Are you looking for 70s style space rock? It really doesn't get better than Hawkwind's Warriors at the Edge of Time.

Anyone listen to Diagonal's most recent?

Hmmm. I can't say I'm enjoying it. Sounds really bland, but I'm only a few songs in.

I got up to somewhere around the ending of the 4th track. Nothing exciting. They were more enjoyable when they ripped off ELP

Sounds like some solid ambient. I dig it. I've been on a Dark Dubstep kick lately as far as EDM goes.
