Without a doubt The Dillinger Escape Plan. One of the most original bands ever and you have to really be into music to even have heard of them

Idyll swords, i dont remember how i found these guys. But i really like what they did, they have a really eastern sound i believe it was a trio of 3 acoustic players among many other instruments. I actually used to talk to chuck jones threw email a little, hes a really cool guy went to berkley for music, he was also on a superchunk song years back. Really great group really outside the box.

This is the silliest besides maybe Buckethead.. I mean Buckethead were on Guitar Hero. I could name a lot of bands no one has heard of besides the regs but what's even the point.

My roommate asked me if I knew Three Bad Jacks recently, they apparently played some party he was at. He's like 40. Good story.

For me it's Cyclamen; such a variety in the bands music. The album was really heavy, but went in all directions too. The new EP they've released is a lot more melodic, but it's still brilliant.
It's just one man really, Hayato Imanish, and he makes all the music and distributes it himself. Well worth checking out. He's a really nice guy too. Memories (off the new EP) Thirst (off the album Senjyu) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IK-...&feature=relmfu |
