Surplus population

Do you feel the human population has turned too large given the natural resources?

No I feel the resources have grown too concentrated in areas of wealth leaving others with inadequate access

There are a lot more resources left to plunder than the wealthy harvesters would have you believe.
But yeah, there are far too many people in the world.

I didn't know we were discussing just resources necessary for basic life functions.

I would say lets start by discussing those and then move up to people being too rich and others being too poor.

But if not for the latter, then the former wouldn't be a problem.

I don't see how desertification, overpopulation and other problems are necessarily caused by the rich.

With how many tumblr vegans ferociously hate people who eat meat, you'd think that they'd actually eat the people, so that they can show those monsters how it feels to be eaten yourself.

Overpopulation problem solved.

"Surplus Population"

No. If there is a problem, it lies in the way that food and clean water are produced and distributed.

Okay, then given that the population is still increasing exponentially and has not yet overshot and settled at a stable level we still have room to grow as a species.

And I don't see how rich people's money can't be used to fix those problems.

He was right in the first place, tho. Don't you think the average yank being able to drown a small child in his toilet bowl while people in various struggling countries not having enough too drink is the perfect example of a resource being too concentrated in some parts of the world?

On topic, yeah. People in poor countries need to fvck less and let me fvck more.
