I have an American Strat deluxe that I've decided to upgrade the pickups on because I wasn't happy with the original noiseless pickups. My guitar also has the s1 switching system in it which I also really didn't like. Ok, well I'm going to be putting in a set of Paul Gilbert Dimarzio injectors in it which comes with two injector pickups and one area 67 for the mid postion. My problem is whether I should keep the S1 switching pot the guitar came with or switch it out to a regular fender pot. Also I need to decide whether 250k or 500 k would be better? Any one have any ideas?
