To be fair to him, he was good enough to recognise that he make a mistake. Pretty petty to call him out over Twitter though.

Why the hell are we talking about the failings of Lewis Hamilton's personal life and not about KA-MU-I!?

Big one doesnt describe the crash at Talladega in NSCS, more like 'the epic one'.

Caught pretty much everybody, and has made the chase a 3 way battle between Kes, Hamlin and JimmieJimmie.

Just watched it whilst listening to Coheed and Cambria - Domino the Destitute. The spoken bit tied in perfectly and hit it's climax as the accident kicked off.

I'm not sure the technology is going to be anywhere near DTM, is it? I haven't really read that much about it to be honest.
I do wonder if the series will be more inviting to/accepting of international drivers with the new manufacturers coming in. Especially if they keep adding international tracks to the calendar.

Sim - V8 Supercars next year.
Telecaster - its the same paint job as the Falcon they are running this year ![]() Dave - the concept is the same (standardised racing cell, centralised fuel tank etc.) but apart from that they are fairly different. The DTM shell is based on the 2 door coupes (M3/RS5/C63coupe) while the V8SC COTF is 4 door sedans. The DTM cars use a 4.4L v8 that put out about 470hp, the V8SC cars at the moment put out 600hp from 5L V8s and it will stay about the same. That said, I think a DTM is faster around a lap due to its bigger tyres, much more advanced aerodynamics and lighter weight. The weight is a big one, DTM cars have Carbon Fibre panels and doors while V8SC COTF is still normal metal. Khann - Frenchie Alexandre Premat (ex-DTM/ILMS) runs the #33 car for GRM. He hasn't set the world on fire but the current generation of V8SC cars are not exactly easy to drive. They're a crazy challenge for someone who isn't used to their style. Yeah I think Klien, who is obviously a talented driver, has shown that pretty clearly. Or really any enduro drivers with a heap of international experience that have come in. How many F1 drivers have there been? Klien, Liuzzi and Villeneuve are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

There's been a few more thanks to the Gold Coast 600 and the rule that an international driver must be used as a co-driver - Morbidelli, David Brabham, Bourdais, Pirro, Salo, Jan Magnussen, Sarrazin & Monteiro. Funnily enough, the strategies work out over the 300km race they run the co-drivers up until the minimum requirement has been met and the strategy fits and they swap over to the main driver for the rest of the race. (I may have wikipedia-ed that list) |
