Distortion Pedals

I was wondering if you guys could give me a good idea of some distortion pedals I could get for a sound close to a punk sound like rise against or any other clean sounding distortion pedal that's reliable.

I have a pedal board now with a digitech the weapon pedal, boss ds-1 distortion, a delta lab rock distortion, and a dunlop cry baby. I have had the distortion pedals like the boss one pretty much since i started guitar and I'm wanting something with a better sound now.

I'm using a Gibson les paul standard and peavey 50 watt valveking combo.

I also listen to some bands like three days grace, skillet, nirvana, metallica, breaking benjamin, green day, blink 182, sum 41 ect. I mainly stay around the alternative rock range.

EDIT: Also if you know a good chorus pedal, I'm all ears.

Thanks for your help guys!

I havent ever had one but if your looking for serious distortion id look into a POD X-3 Live. Ive heard its a great for any kind of distortion you want. It is a bit pricey however.

I still love my little DS-1 btw XD

Visual sound jekyll and hyde. Its an extremly versitile distortion that should cover everything on your list I that comes essentially comes with a free tube screamer. Id still use the ds-1 for nirvana though its one of the better pedals for that paticular sound.

Its a double pedal. One of the two is a decent tube screamer clone, tends to more bass than a normal tube screamer just turn the tone knob up a little higher.
