Cool, so we've officially scrapped the pedal box idea and instead gone for a pr0nz exchange. ![]()

I'm interested. Are rack effects allowed in the box?

Ya, shipping is probably gonna be $60 at least. When I sent the box with 3 pedals to Adam Express, it was $51 I think. It's just that we don't want to lose the box like last time. ![]() |

Dunwich Amps just shipped me an attenuator and his FAC OFF (huge enclosure), it was $51 for insurance and tracking. I'd say $60 is about right.

Needs to be a weight limit or shipping quickly gets ridiculous...

I wouldn't mind doing this, but I don't have any pedals I can exchange. Only my Zoom G1 but I don't think that would be accepted plus it was a gift so I'm not trading it.
I'm not signing up though, but you should post pics of everyone it goes through! That way we can all see the pedals that go through it. Then maybe at the end of it, review all the pedals that are left over and if possible make a pedal board out it, demo it, and auction it for charity since it is donations anyways. The forum can vote on what charity. Quote:
+1 The first person would have to pay like 5 bucks and the last person has to pay like 80 dollars. But do what was mentioned before and spilt the difference between everyone so it's fair. Cheers, Xter

Large flat rate box in the US is $16 I think. Cheaper if you buy postage online. If we can fit it in a medium, it's $11. |

You don't have to swap anything out. If you just wanna mess around with some pedals for a couple days, that's cool too. IIRC, I didn't swap anything last time. Not posting pics of the box until the very end though. The whole point is for it to be a surprise. Charity is an idea. Though I was thinking something that gave something back to whoever originally donated. Or maybe a post your sob story and whoever makes me cry gets all the leftovers? ![]() |

this, weight isn't an issue in the US, internationally it does matter, from the US to another country in a flat rate box it has to be under 20 pounds

the plan last time, which I didn't tell anyone, was to let the people who donated take something in return and everything left over was going to be given away at random to people who participated

Copypasta. That dude was just a troll. He posted it in the Pit too. Quote:
That's like 20 pedals. Not even a large priority box full of wahs would be that much. |

I'd be interested in this, if I'm allowed to join.
I've got no pedals of any value, though. Maybe I can build an amp that fits in the box. ![]()

Because of weight limits, I'm guessing rack effects are out then? What are the dimensions of the box to be?

Did you read any further in the thread? It got lulztastic. Something about Zanax and then a bunch of gibberish and some horsey men and something about jerking it to the smell of the bed. Then he disappeared into the wind. |
