I love me a bit of Finnish metal. I must admit I have strayed more towards listening to Swedish stuff lately, (At The Gates, The Haunted, Opeth) but Finnish music still has a place in my heart.

My most favoritest Swedish band ever is Mithotyn, but nobody seems to know of them.

I'd just like to give an idea to all of you foreigners. Take a serious thought about this. If you listen to metal, you MUST one day go to a Finnish metal festival. It's a crazy experience that you'll never forget. Luckily, I live in Finland and get to attend these every year.

But seriously, make a trip to Finland in July and visit Tuska festival or Ruisrock. Probably the 2 coolest festivals here. Oh god now I wish it was summer...

In that case I blame 13-year-olds for buying into it. Bandnames don't really matter to me but still, I have no idea how they keep getting away with it. Most are cheesier than the entire '80s combined.
