I'm not a huge drinker either, only really like Cider and just to be overly British for the Americans, a Martini (shaken, not stirred) is really tasty.

The TP was attached to two people's arseholes, and then was lit on fire in the middle. You couldn't put it out until you'd downed your drink. Most people failed miserably, considering we did it with pints.

Given I don't drink I know shit-all about beer and how sitting effects it, but I don't think it'd be ridiculous to guess that Transatlantic transit vs. domestic transit effects it?

Any time before 1 or 2 and town is dead. One drink that's really popular here is Drop Shots. It's basically liquid liquorice crossed with dog shite, and taste awful. EDIT: Just using Martini as an example, on the Tesco website it's £8 per bottle, over here it's €4.
