Unlimited Challenge 2012 - Telecastom (or Telecustom?)
Hi
This is a new project I'm starting. This will be a semi-hollow tele, with flamed maple veneer on the top, maple neck, rosewood fretboard and some unknown wood I found for the body back. I quited the es-335 build because I'm sure I don't have enough time until november to finish it and I won't be able to continue after it.

I personally prefer regular - Reversed headstocks just look very 'out of place' to me most of the time, for lack of a better word.
EDIT - The post below is exactly what I mean - They suit some guitars, but not all

I only like reversed headstocks on certain shapes. The standard Fender headstock I think looks better the regular way around. Ibanez's on the other hand...

For a Fender headstock I definitely say leave it. I only like reversed Jacksons. And even then I hate to tune it.

No progress on the neck yet, but glued the body. It's a quality piece of pine I've found at home.

I'm going against the grain and advising for a reversed headstock. I've always found them to be more aesthetically pleasing if it's a six-in-line design.

I quite like a reverse headstock but it's down to player preference. And, yay! Another pine guitar hits the streets!

By the way guyz, I rly don't know what color to choose for it. Blue always pops in my mind but every time I see a blue telecaster it doesn't look good.
I've always been in love with the pensa-mk's finish but I don't know how it goes with a telecaster. Do you have any suggestions? |
