New song[technical/melodic punkrock]

Hi

I'm looking for feedback on my new song.

I'm a huge fan of punkrock music, i try to combine "fast and agressive" with "catchy and melodic" when i write songs. In this song i tried to make more interesting drumparts then i normaly do, i also added alot of tapping, im actually not a fan of tapping in general, but i think these tapping parts sounds ok(way better when u play them on the guitar then listening to the GP).

Intro : bar1 - 18
Verse: bar19-30
solofill: bar31-47
Chours: bar48-63

I would like some feedback, does it sound good or is it too much "tapping/pentatonics-newbie-stuff"

Definitely some cool parts in there. My favourite section started at bar 26 and pretty much the rest of the song was good. The tapping intro/verse parts didn't really do much for me thought. Expand the song!

I'm a huge fan of pop punk/melodic hardcore as well (Sum 41, A Wilhelm Scream, etc) so nice to see this stuff here.

1-8: It's fine.

9-10: The transition doesn't work, I'm afraid. Sounds awkward.

11-18: It's fine. Good transition into..

19-25: It's fine.

26: Awesome transition into..

27-32: Sounds amazing. Love the harmony.

33-40: It sounds good.

41-47: Good transition.

48-63: I like it, good section.

This is definitely the kind of song that needs vocals & distortion, I'd be interested to give it a listen if you end up recording it.

Everything from 19 and on sounds good, 26 and on sounds awesome though! I definitely think you should either change the intro or make the transition more transitiony, right now it's a little too much in your face (at least for my taste)

The beginning is a bit sketchy, change it, but the rest of the song is spot on, I actually enjoyed it, for some reason it reminds me of bands like Advenged Sevenfold and Parkway Drive in their more melodic moments but I am more of a metalhead than your, what to you call the people who listen to pop punk?

Interesting mix of fast lead stuff and chirpy punk type melodies. Nice song and catchy too. The intro could probably do with something changing a little just to add more interest. Sounds great when the main rhythm kicks in at bar 19. Lots of good parts and the outro is nice also, although I don't want it to end so soon cos I'm enjoying it.
