Will be hard to tell you any specific information without pics or specifics on your guitar. What is wrong with the neck that was on there?

Measure the neck pocket. If it is the same size as a Fender neck then you can just drill new holes.
Take a picture or find a picture online. The only image I found of the back of a 760 had the same neckplate as a Strat.

Glad to see you don't need a neck. As long as the Hondo neck is straight then you're fine there. And the bridge is still good too as long as the screws haven't seized up.

The 5th hole, in the center, is drilled at the factory as a means of supporting the body while it's being painted/finished. You can just ignore it.
If you want a hardtail where a tremolo has been, it's pretty tough. You said you wanted an easy solution so me telling you to cut a piece of wood to fill the trem rout would be kinda infeasible. What you can do is use the original trem but put a piece of wood between the trem sustain block and the wood of the rout. When the strings are tightened, their tension will pin the block of wood in place, and you'll have a fixed bridge. With this setup, you don't even need the springs or claw.

There isn't any special "ground wire." Just go to Radioshack and get some 18, 20, or 22 gauge wire.

Haha it's a wire man, all it needs to do is make a connection, if a rusty nail could have continuity, it'd work.
