No Scale the Summit Tabs

Just noticed there aren't any tabs for Scale the Summit, which is a great instrumental band especially for guitarists. Maybe I'll do one some time but it would be great if the site had some.

There were tabs before. They have since been taken down per the request of the band. The band has tab books for sale on their website. A worthwhile investment i would say.

My guess as to the reason for this is, they have tab books for at least some of their albums, and it would be a waste of time for someone to tab them out by ear if they can learn how to play it exactly from the books.
And secondly, to just copy the tabs from the books and upload here violates the terms of service and copyright.

So, that's why there's no Scale The Summit tabs on here.

Hmm that makes sense. Definitely respect that fact that they want them down, although Guitar Pro makes things so much easier for me in every aspect.

IMO it makes Scale the Summit look like a bunch of greedy douchebags. Why have INTERPRETATIONS of your songs banned? This is why i'll never buy anything Scale The Summit puts out

capitalism, man.

edit: i bought the collective tab book. i was disappointed that the one thing missing from it was probably the one riff i most wanted to learn.

anyone know if the technique books are worth picking up?

I tabbed out the Migration in GP6 if anyone wants those songs, although I only have the guitar parts.

I used the tab book I bought off of Chris when I saw them with TesseracT.
