Favorite High Gain Amps?
Whats happening guys? I've decided now, since I have gotten my tax returns (finally) I would use all of it to go towards a new amp. I don't really need a new one, but money in my life isn't a huge factor (I'm not trying to sound cocky or showoff) JS! Anyways on my signature it already includes the amps I currently own.
The moral of this thread is to find out what you'r guys' favorite High Gain Amps are? And I will go try those Amps out to see if I like them or not. Also explain why you like the amp. I love reading feedback, so type away haha. Thanks guys!

Cameron CCV100 - Excellent cleans, and the best hot rodded Marshall sound you'll ever hear
Diezel VH4 - Channel 3 is ridiculously tight and defined CEC Brigand - Really unique and versatile. Hard to define its voicing, as it's definitely its own CAA OD100 - Ridiculously good cleans and hot rodded Marshall sound with a punchier low end Those are my favs. Still own the CCV and Brigand, had an OD100 and regret selling it, wish I had bought a VH4 instead of a Hagen. |

Here is a list of amps to go play. They are my favorites - but honestly lately, I'm less and less excited about the Madison amps. The rest I'm pretty keen on.

These threads are nonsensical. Our favorite amps are not going to be your favorite.
What's your budget, location and favorite bands tones you like?

I don't play Metal much (not a medal head, more of a Punk and classic rock kind of person), but when I feel like chugging (I believe is the term) on high gain, I prefer a Mesa/boogie stiletto (I haven't tried the Rectifier seeries yet though, so that might be better).

Yea, miss my OD100 so much. Said it the other day in WTLT, but I should've ended my amp search there. Would've saved me a ton of money. |

If you'd stretch the term "high-gain" a little bit, the Bogner Shiva is pretty stunning.
In the actual high-gain range, I like the Bogner Uberschall for the super-deep bass and the Fortin Bones for the very dry crunch (basically it's like taking a Soldano SLO and making it better in every way). Also, all the Titan amps I've played sounded really good.
