Wow, kind of amazed right now. I got a little drunk and told my wife I thought 2013 might be my time for an Appalachian Trail attempt and she agreed. Obviously there are a lot of details between me and that reality... But she's on board.

"I own a studio" is one of the most vague comments ever. I have a Tascam 4 track cassette Portastudio so I could say I own a studio too.

Setting the H4n X/Y mics to a 120 degree spread and placing it in front of a cab with mismatched speakers yields incredible results. Can't wait until I can turn these amps up to get the speakers moving and record what the V30/MOW combination sounds like. Stupidly easy to record sound clips and ACTUALLY get a good representation of the room sound with this thing!

Well, I'm trying to be nice but the cats are primed and ready to go.
Man, The Cure's 4:13 Dream is mastered badly. It's a shame because it isn't a bad album otherwise. Somebody should take the guy that mastered it and tie him to a train track.
