Kinda hooked on those new cobalt Ernie Balls.

yeah strings and beyond do basic ernie balls/d'addario for like $4.50 a pack. i've heard good things about the EB cobalts though.

GHS is kind of dependent on the store and region really. They use to sell GHS at wally world and they were cheap, but in guitar stores I've been in, they're the same, if not more expensive than other brands. Nice strings though.

I just buy Elixir Nanowebs these days. They last 3-4 months, even with my acid sweat and 2-3 hours of play per day. Not my favorite feeling or sounding strings, and occasionally you get a pack where the coating peels real quick, but I hate sitting around changing my strings. Just takes up time I could be doing something else.

Really disliked Elixirs when I had them. I use pretty much use D'addario exclusively now though, I'm still yet to find an acoustic string I really like though.

I like Elixers for acoustic as well. D'Add's for electric as of right now, used DR's for a long time before that.

yah, the 11-53 set. they're not available widely enough to make me want to throw my lot in with them. but most if not all music stores stock d'addarios. plus i thought that a 12 would be too heavy, but turns out it's fine.

yeah i started off on elixirs. didn't like the sound of them though. plus expensive. i don't mind changing strings though, i find it relaxing. unless it's on a floyd rose. in which case gtfo.

I used to have those coloured DR's on my Epiphone. They were cool until the novelty wore off.

But you don't play guitar. So you never have to change them.
