Volume Pot Makes noise
When my amp is on, the volume pot on my esp mh-1000 is making a noise that sounds like somebody blowing into a microphone, anyone know what's up?

Is this happening when you are turning the pot, or all the time?
I've had the same problem myself, on two guitars. The first time, the wireing inside the guitar was bad, and the second time, i had a bad cable from my guitar to the amp. So there are three possibilities, bad wireing, broken pot, or bad jack cable ![]() Try out your guitar with another cable, and if it still makes sound, is the guitar itself(either wireing or pot). |

blow it into the back of the guitar where the wires are, or under the pot itself?

Into the pot, there should be 3 small openings by the terminals. Turn the knob as you're doing it as well.
