Happy birthday.

I mean, everybody covers it and they are never as good as the original. Stop trying, guys.

Anything by Ronnie James Dio or Chris Cornell, their voices are just too good.

"Baby Got Back".

Nobody other than Sir Mixalot will ever be able to perform that song.

****ing Adele songs.

Everywhere you go there's a new cover of a tool (or a twat) holding an acoustic and screeching out Someone Like You or Rolling in the Deep.

OK to cover: Revolution (I've seen this a couple times done brilliantly), or say Day Tripper.

My band has covered the following songs that appear on this list:
Enter Sandman
Smells like Teen Spirit
Freebird
I feel bad now. It's a good thing we are only little 16 year old wanna-bes.

Check out The Bad Plus and their cover of this. You would think it was a masterpiece if you had only heard this cover and thought it was the original.

A friend of mine played his final recital the other day, a few days before, he needed to add an extra song to make up time, he couldn't think of anything other than Stairway, so he bit the bullet and threw it in.

He ****ing nailed it.

Normally I'd agree with you but I freakin' loved this guy.

And I dunno what you guys are talking about with a lot of these. I'm ashamed to admit my band used to do Teen Spirit and Crazy Train in the same set which I understand why those really shouldn't be covered, but a lot of these I've seen some great stuff for.

Buckley's cover is bad though. John Cale has the best cover IMO. Pain of Salvation's cover is also great.

Why don't you and Zoot go get a room and make out to Leonard Cohen then?
