The SC's body looks like a Fender Mustangs. But bigger?

I'm dying for a legacy. Just can't decide if I want to get a tribute for like $270 or go for an American at $600.

Just bought a slightly used Tribute Legacy off Ebay for $280 after shipping. Not a bad deal, especially since I don't have to pay sales tax on it. Also one of the Korean made tributes, which I've been told are of an outstanding quality.

The electronics from the Indonesian ones are the same as the American. The Quality rules so hard because it's from the Cortek factory, which, as you may know, makes all the Cort guitars.

Just got my Tribute Legacy.
Blown the **** away. Apologies for the pics, as they were hastily taken, and taken with a shit camera in shit light. In person, the guitar looks sooooooooo much better. ![]() ![]() ![]() 1) Great looking guitar. Phenomenal shape. Looks brand new aside from some light scratches on the pickguard, but that is what it is there for. 2) This is loud acoustically. I thought my Mahogany Epiphone Les Paul and my Mahogany Ibanez RGA72QME were loud, this trumps them, and sound so smooth. 3) This is easily the best guitar I've played as far as playability is concerned. Every move I make seems to be smoother, it seems like I'm playing air guitar. I played a couple American made Fender strats a couple of weeks ago at Guitar Center, and this plays much better, and the neck is miles better then what I played. 4) The pickups kick ass. Especially with my amp, a Fender Hot Rod Deville 212. I was souring on the amp a bit lately because I wasn't that impressed with it when playing through my Ibanez (which has EMGs), and this just made it sing. Then again, that might have just been the fact that a) EMGs blow hard, and b) I needed single coils to get the clean sounds that I was searching for. 5) It may be the excitement of a new guitar, but I think I might be sold on these G&L guitars, even though I've just gotten my first, and its the mass produced model. Then again, I've heard people claim that the Korean made Tributes (which this is) were better then the American ones, so go figure. 6) Only con is that it didn't come with a tremolo bar, so I have to order one from G&L. (Got the guitar off Ebay, btw) Thanks for listening to me ramble on about this, but it is just awesome. I'm going to go play right now. Lata.

I have a Hot Rod Deluxe. Single Coils make that thing sing. Also, my G&L is also the loudest electric I've ever heard acoustically! May the fanboyism deepen!

I have to say...
I always change out the pups on my guitars, but my Jerry Cantrell Tribute sounds perfect. Very clear and articulate. Its impossible to put this guitar down whenever I start playing it!

Dos tribute owner here, a Legacy in cherryburst and an L-2500 in blueburst. Two of the best instruments I've ever played.
