Parallels [Alternative-Keys-Electronic-Indie] c4c
Hey figured I'd mix it up and try something using the ol' keyboard and a handful of synths. Started of with the syncopated piano rhythm and it just sort of blossomed from there. I realize this is a guitar forum and there is literally no guitar, and for that I apologize, but would still appreciate any and all feedback! naturally the favor will be returned!
Song is titled 'Parallels' http://soundcloud.com/matt_richardson/parallels

Ohhhh I like this. Okay lets see. That is one nice ass sound drum kit. Love that. The vocals are pretty good, I felt cutting in the "at times like this" was unnecessary but that's your choice. Hm. The harmony part was a little weird. I would of had one of them lower down in the mix, a little too overbearing. I really like the chill out feel at around 2:30, that was nice. The vocals are a little too compressed for me, it gives it that cheap radio feel, which might be intentional, not really my thing. But yeah, it's really well done good singing, no big issues with it at all. I guess I wish you would of brought it all together at the end and have a big outro instead of fading out, but also your choice.
Really good job. C4C one of mine? http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/foru...d.php?t=1558452 |

Vocals aren't bad (which is rare here), but I have to agree that the harmony felt a little odd. Overall, cool song. Actually much better than most of the stuff we see around here
