DotA: Defense of the Ancients!
Am I the only one who plays this game on UG?

For those that don't know, DotA is a tower defense game. If you've ever played League of Legends, or Heroes of Newerth than you've been playing the offspring of DotA.

It is a custom map for Warcraft III that some random dude made, and it became an international hit. It's more famous than Warcraft III.

They're even making a stand alone sequal DotA 2.

They have whole tournaments dedicated to it and you get a SHIT load of money if you win.

It's a 5v5 game and it's epic.

Allow me to show you Pudge, the Butcher, with one of his special abilities, throwing his meat hook and dragging his victim towards him so he can devour them.

I used to play it a lot when Warcraft 3 came out, but damn. That was ages ago.

It's in a very-tightly closed beta at the moment. It's a lot of fun if you can get in with some friends.

And Rin was my favorite of all the routes.

They just sent out more the other day I think. You can also buy an invite now for $39.99, but seeing as how the game will be F2P, it's not really worth it unless you'll really make the time in beta worth it.

It's really still in beta? Shows how much I know.
I think Shizune's was my least favourite, don't know about my fav though...
