Would you trade your MXR CarbonCopy to a EHX Flanger Hoax?
My friend just offered me, is it a fair trade?

what do you need more a delay or a flanger? personally i would keep the delay, but i don't know in value.
keep what works for you. if the flanger is needed. then i guess i would go for that.

Look at how much they are selling for on Ebay... if they're going for the same amount of money then it's a fair trade.

Monetary value aside, which of the two would be more valuable to your sound? I'd stick with the delay pedal if I was in your situation.

Delay is really a more useful pedal as where I personally would call flange more of a novelty. But if you want a flange for your sound and not a delay then go for it. Monetary value-wise I believe you'd be getting the more expensive pedal.
