Like I said in the Hendrix guitar thread; art is about getting a reaction out of the viewer, but not necessarily a positive one. Stuff like this is just in that category called 'polarizing,' you may love it or you may hate it... But either way you notice it.

And In my opinion, I like it, but would rather have a different guitar than this one.
But that just me.

Here is the guitar case, developed by Scott Ouderkirk (his website is his name):

That looks like a pretty bad amature drawing.
I like the knobs that you got though.

Make a better one if it's so bad. I rather like it and the customer seems to like it so whats the problem?

Scott is a good artist... the direction of the drawing for this case (as he has done in the past) is a characature more than a 'life' drawing. Here are some more of his work: Cash, Atkins and Nelson:

That is pretty amateur spelling...

It just seems.......not developed
I dunno it seems to clash with the whole concept of the guitar.

Also, eddie be careful with the spam.

Correcting your spelling is not spam.

I've got to agree about the case, I would have expected something more flashy or classy.

I don't need the case to be more flashy... I don't play it or want diamonds or silver on it, lol. It's nothing more than a plain case with some artwork on it.

I have an idea for a Black Strat (David Gilmour) concept guitar and may get Argentariis to develop little pig tuner keys. The leaf knobs and tuner pegs are shipping this Wednesday:

Report so far from the luthier:

"Plays like my guitars." This is to be expected and I can't wait, since this is all I play. "Tone is bright but full; very articulate; easy to control feedback." This is exactly what Sublime Pickups set out to do (and this is a mahogany body, which many claim will produce 'dark' tones). "I have fret leveling to do on a few frets; normal setup stuff, another few days and it's playing like I meant it to." Engraved plates on truss rodd and trem yet to be installed.

Here is the link to the "Ghost Ground" technique that Stephen Casper did on the JEM guitar:

The mostly-finished product; I'll post higher quality images once I received the guitar and attached the silver peg heads and knobs:

I actually quite like the guitar despite the initial criticism.
