Zoom B3 Bass Pedal - Clip/distortion problem
Currently having a problem with my Zoom B3 pedal. I know it's not of the top standard professional quality, but I shouldn't be having this problem...
If I hit a certain note loudly enough it clips, and despite me trying to turn down gains or going through completely clean, nothing seems to fix it. I've tried all my cables and without the pedal but the only time it does it is when the signal runs through the pedal. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem is or is it purely the way the pedal works that it can't handle high input? |

The G3 is supposed to have a pad switch or something on the back of the unit that you switch depending on active or passive pickups being used. See if the bass version has that & if it helps. Otherwise I have no idea whats causing it.

God damn it, yeah that's the problem, it's on passive when I have an active bass.
Thanks! |
