Hang on, when you say "your rig" are we talking about all your gear or just your rig that you take with you to gigs? If it's everything I'd have to rethink it. The $6K figure I estimated is just what I gig with.

I'd assume the first one, but thats just because I'm genuinely curious as to what kind of gear it is you might have.

Let's see here.

Fender Champ 25SE - $175
Vox Valvetronix 20+ - $170
BBE Green Screamer - $100
1980 MXR Dist + - $100
Pro Co. cable - $30
Leather strap - $30

Washburn X-50 Pro - $700
EMGs - 200
RG560 - 400
Jackson PS4/DK2 - 300
EMGs - 200
Epi LP Custom - 700
SD SH-5 - 72
Gotoh bridge - 25

So that's $3202. Taking into consideration what I actually paid it's right at $2725

I really need a better amp and I'm set.

i have at least $10k in amps if purchased new.
at least $2-3k in cabs/speakers.
seven gibsons (i don't know, two of them are obscure and two are 1/400 production then two LP studios and on additional SG's)
two wolfgangs $2k maybe $2.5, i don't know what they sold for during production.
two prestige ibanezs 3k? (3550MZ and 2570DVSL)
five or six nippon gakki classicals maybe $1500?
one pre WWII italian luthier built guitar that a good tech estimated at $4k+ in an auction setting.
MIM strat $500
Fender Showmaster $250 (way clearanced down)
i probably have $500 in cables
~$1k in all of my pedals and related paraphernalia.

$20k-$25k WIthout gibsons. leaving some wiggle room.

if other intruments count i have two trumpets and a coronet worth $3k
piano $2000
if drums count i probably have $5-6k
i have a snare drum (hand hammered copper) seperately listed at $1.2k

$30k-$35k maybe a little bit more maybe a little bit less. WITHOUT Gibsons

i can tell you that i probably payed 40% of that or less. i do well on buying/selling/trading. a lot of this is guessing.but pretty realistic.

edit in: Genz Benz M-line 210t
as well as a 1982 Peavey USA Horizon II
