Tab Request - The Vampire by Buffy Sainte-Marie
I have been looking for chords/tabs or sheet music (or even a lead to a backing/karaoke track) for The Vampire by Buffy Sainte-Marie and have had no luck. Any help would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance. 'Buffy' |

Hey, I don't have a tab written out for this, but if just the chords will help you, here is what I've figured it out to be:
basically the song has two phrase patterns that are repeated AABAABAAB. Phrase A: C#sus2/G G# shall I tell you of the night F#m B A G# It was long a_go (x2, same for "late november...") Phrase B: A B E and the moon was big and bright F#M B A G# cold and sharp and clear C#sus2/G# G# C#sus2/G# and the air was bi___ting (then repeated later for "I am farther from you now..." etc etc) The C#sus2/G# isn't as crazy as it sounds. Just play a normal C#minor chord with your finger fretting the entire fourth fret to get the G# on the E low string, but then lift your middle finger off the B string so the E is actually a D#. Like this: 4 4 6 6 4 4 During "softly, swiftly..." it's the same but on the C#sus2/G she lifts and then hammers her ring and pinky fingers onto the D and G string like this: 44 44 44 44 44h66 44h66 44 44 44 44 Hope this helps!
