Doesn't hurt all. You have to hold the wire so lightly so that you don't break it, that it does not generate any kind of friction that you can feel. I have noticed moisture makes the wire more resistant to sliding between fingers so make sure your hands are dry if you are going to give it a shot.

It is light weight, comfortable to play, and the actions nice and low. Over all I'm very happy with the final product! The humbucker provides a nice contrast with a thicker/ warmer tone and I also ran it through a push pull vol pot so I can split it to a single coil. It has a decent range of tones you can get out of it so its a little difficult to describe. Like I said, Ill try and get a video of one of my friends who can actually play well to demo it for you guys. I didnt want to copy the Tele shape exactly so I made the horn smaller which could be why the opposite side looks bigger.
