Ingenious setup, doesn't it hurt to hold onto the wire as its being spooled? I would have thought gloves were needed.

Doesn't hurt all. You have to hold the wire so lightly so that you don't break it, that it does not generate any kind of friction that you can feel. I have noticed moisture makes the wire more resistant to sliding between fingers so make sure your hands are dry if you are going to give it a shot.

I love it when people weigh their new guitars. It's sort of like when you get a new baby or something

Neck glued in

Adding some sealer

Number 2

I emailed a place about white decals and they took to long to respond so I just painted it and I'm really happy with the white!

The maple butterflies got some blue dust on them from sanding and I just couldn't get them as clean as when they were first filed so I decided to really make'em pop with white

So close!

Finally done! Love the tones can I pull out of this thing even from a cheap Crate amp. It is light weight, comfortable to play, and the actions nice and low. Over all I'm very happy with the final product! I'll put up a demo video if I can get one in the future.

Man that looks great. The detail is really nice I can tell you know what your doing.

How does it play/sound?

Is it me or is the lower bout smaller than a typical Tele? or is the uper non horn area a little bigger than a normal Tele?

The Single coil is bright and crystal clear. The humbucker provides a nice contrast with a thicker/ warmer tone and I also ran it through a push pull vol pot so I can split it to a single coil. It has a decent range of tones you can get out of it so its a little difficult to describe. Like I said, Ill try and get a video of one of my friends who can actually play well to demo it for you guys.

I didnt want to copy the Tele shape exactly so I made the horn smaller which could be why the opposite side looks bigger. I think I used my strat for size when I drew it up.

Those inlays, as well as the rest of the guitar, look absolutely astounding.
Top notch work! I look forward to the video.

I was bored today so I decided to hack up a few songs with my playing. Its running through a 15 watt Crate amp and record it on an iphone so quality is not great.

Distorted

Clean
