you'd be better off following in jack black's steps and learning inward singing...cuz rock singers...are only rocking you half the time! the other half they're breathing...IN!!! but not any more!! AHAHAHAHA!!!

If a band pig squeals, they're almost definately inhaling.

WRONG

Although I can't point you in the right direction, I know those aren't inhales.

BMTH definately are (I'm talking low)

His highs are exhaled, but watching him live, he doesn't breath in before most of his lows. He also has that "wind" factor that comes from inhales.

And JFAC do a LOT of inhales. A lot of his lows, and all of his pig squeals are inhaled, which is also evident live.

I'm going to have to disagree with you on this.
I know for a fact Eddie doesn't inhale his brees.
and the majority of professional vocalists exhale their ****.

....no

Circle of Dead Children, Insect Warfare, Whitechapel all exhale their piggys, and those happen to be my favorites.

on a side not i like how Prostitute Disfigurement was on your list, i enjoy them.

I'll re-look at my videos.

For those vocalists here, how do I do exhaled pig squeals? I can't manage it.

Basically, it's the same as inward, but you've gotta do an almost growling shape.
Thing is, you exhale different to any other scream.
Just fiddle doing exactly what you do inwards, outwards, and try every way of doing it you can think of.

I can't really help, they're hard to explain.
EDIT: Core Allegiance ftw.
PM if you want more help with any type of screaming - that goes for anyone here.

DOUBLE EDIT:
***WTF guys? BMTH do not inhale. JFAC do not inhale. ASP do not inhale.
I don't know about the rest, but I will bet money that they don't, as I know they don't.

Alrighty, i'll try to explain it the best i can.

so for your normal exhaled growl, you really want to tighten up your abdomen, like your doing a sit up. then generate the scream from there, in other words, use your diaphram.
so when you do that, your pushing the air normally.
when you do a pig squeel, your going to want to push the air really really hard. and you have to do something in your throat that helps generate the piggy sound, but it's way to ****ing hard to explain, i just kinda do it.

Its fun, but you'll f*** up your vocal cords. My advice is to do exhale screaming instead.

Who cares. Inhaled screams already tell how much bands sucks.
