TS, go for the cab offworld linked, or one of the V30 cabs mentioned. The spidervalve cabs are a pretty awesome value

I can't say much about Flextones and Vettas, but POD HD was disgusting. So glad I sold it.

Well I am afraid you are in the minority with that opinion. I think making a ridiculous statement that a company literally does not make one good product is hard to take seriously if you haven't tried them all, which you haven't

mesa and orange cabs can both be found for $500 and under used. Just wait a couple weeks, check Craigslist and guitar forum classifieds.

Well, I tried a Spider (yeah I know everyone hates them but anyway), a distortion pedal from them which I didn't like. I've heard some demos of Spider Valve which didn't impress me at all. M-series effects are the same as those in POD HD, so...

If the Vetta is good enough for Trent ****ing Reznor... 'nuff said there.

Maybe you just suck at editing digital FX?

Also the new DT amps are very nice pieces of gear. I would be going for one, except that they shit the bed for modern high gain. Hopefully L6s next flagship will nail what I need out of an amp.

The low end PODs aren't great either, but Spiders are what they get a bad rap for. I haven't played much L6 stuff to judge as a whole.
