I'm getting a new guitar for my birthday, an Ibanez s420. I've tried it out in the shop and I like it feels and sounds but because it has the ZR floyd rose it's tuned into standard tuning yet I play a couple of steps lower so I was wondering if I would be able to de-tune the guitar in the shop so I try out some stuff with the lowered 6th string?

Also I bought my last guitar from this place and I got an alright deal with the price. I was thinking of asking if they could restring the guitar with some heavier gauge strings. Do you reckon they'll do that?
